Getting your vehicle inspected is something that needs to be done for safety reasons. There are several types of vehicle inspections, catering to a different reason and type of car. It is good to know which one is most suitable for your needs.

AMVIC Inspection: Before a car can be sold by a dealer, it needs to be inspected with an AMVIC inspection. This detailed analysis and report of a car provides assurance to the next buyer and must be performed by a registered journeyman at a registered facility. Lakeview Automotive is registered for with AMVIC for inspections, bring your cars to us.

Pre-Purchase inspection: One of the most important inspections to get BEFORE you purchase a used vehicle. This detailed bumper-to-bumper inspection will make sure that the vehicle you are looking to purchase is a good one and worth the price you are paying for it.

Servicing and inspecting Subarus is one of our specialties. Part of the pre-purchase inspection for a Subaru involves a leak down and compression engine inspection. Contact us with any questions you may have.

Insurance inspection – This type of inspection is required by insurance companies and is usually reserved for older vehicles to make sure they are safe and road worthy for Calgary streets. Like all other inspections, insurance inspections must be done by a registered journeyman at a registered facility, such as ours.

Diagnostics inspection – Our diagnostic/ troubleshooting inspections range from trouble shooting simple malfunctions to in-depth mechanical and electrical intermittent issues. We will perform a diagnostics inspection on all makes and models, but given Fords and Subarus are our specialty, we are seriously good at figuring things out on these makes of cars.

Seasonal Inspection: Finally, our seasonal inspection is our bumper-to-bumper seasonal inspection done every time you come in for an oil service. This digital report comes with pictures that we take of your car, giving you peace of mind and assurance with your car. Consider it a digital report card with pictures.
